Solar Thermal Heating
The IZEP-Boost model is a single or two stage, high pressure solar powered booster pump that lifts water onto a single or two storey roof for free solar thermal heating pool or spa heating, with no power bills and a perfect match to an IZEP SKUMP ecosystem. Alongside it we have combined solar electrical with solar thermal in our PV+T technology, so the same panel powers the pump, ozone and lights while heating the very water being pumped. Two PV+T models are available, a fully assembled modular unit for spa pools and a DIY kit for larger systems such as swimming pools.
SolMate
SolMate is an innovative all-in-one solution that generates photovoltaic electrical energy from the front of the panel and solar thermal water heat energy off the back of the same panel, all within a single footprint.
Ultra compact at 1.4 metres by 1 metre by only 25 millimetres thick, SolMate fits neatly onto a roof or deck. For heating, 2 to 3 panels are enough for a spa, while 10 to 15 panels suit a swimming pool.
Solar heated spa
A working solar thermal spa setup: PV+T panels on the roof of a bamboo gazebo capture both electricity and heat, while the IZEP-Boost solar powered booster pump circulates water through the thermal collector. No grid connection, no power bills, and free heating straight from the sun.
