SolaFlo's SKUMP(Pump in Skimmer)
Is a complete, self-powered swimming pool equipment and management platform. At its heart, IZEP our safe low voltage dc water pump sits inside an enhanced skimmer, water then flows into two large cartridge filters positioned either side, halving the velocity and reducing friction loss, SKUMP Does away with all ugly and noisy above ground pumps, pipes, fittings and confusing valves that a traditional systems rely on. A third outlet extends to our sterilisation system, mounted below our Ultimate controller, All plug and play, Wi-Fi, Blue tooth and App controlled. Our optional Solmate solar thermal heating system competes the perfect installation. Illumination and robotic cleaning are also included. All seamlessly working together as a single silent, in-ground ecosystem. Specified and installed by your pool builder as part of the pool installation process, SKUMP is totally out of sight, silent (at any speed) runs for free, drawing all the power it needs from the sun.

Traditional pools are expensive, noisy and complicated.
Conventional pool systems typically combine mismatched equipment from different manufacturers, with long, inefficient plumbing runs with multiple 90-degree elbows that waste energy. AC mains powered equipment near water can create safety risks, while noisy pumps, ugly plant rooms and blocked leaf skimmers make pool ownership a chore. Backwashing sand filters wastes water, and oversized pumps keep running costs high.

SKUMP integrates the recirculation skimmer, pump, filtration, sterilisation, illumination water quality sensing (PH, ORP, Conductivity & Temp) even robotic floor cleaning into a single, self-powered platform. At its heart is IZEP, the world’s most efficient low-voltage DC water pump, positioned directly below an enhanced skimmer. Pumped water flows into two large cartridge filters positioned either side to reduce velocity. The result is lower head pressure, lower friction loss and far less energy wasted.

Lift the skimmer lid and a small lock down cover and you see straight down onto the IZEP pump itself. Fully accessible and serviceable. No long suction pipes leading to a garden or dedicated pump / equipment shed. No elbows, no confusing valves, thus no suction head loss or noise. Water is drawn into the skimmer, through the leaf basket, then directly into the pump, Water is then pumped into two large cartridge filters positioned each side. Filtered water is then returned to the pool via Two dedicated 50mm returns , All within a single in-ground housing at poolside.

Powered entirely by solar
SKUMP runs completely for free on only one to two solar panels paired with a compact LFP battery. No grid connection, no power bills, no emissions.
Water-efficient filtration
One-pass cartridge filtration is finer and more efficient than sand media, with dramatically lower head pressure. The auto-leaf backflush system prevents blocked skimmers and saves water.
No plant room, no clutter
The pump, skimmer and filters live in-ground at poolside, hidden under three or four unobtrusive deck covers. No pump shed, no plant room, no corner of the garage lost to equipment, and no consuming 2 or 3 way valves required.
Native low-voltage safety
Solar panels, battery, IZEP pump and all matched accessories are low-voltage DC. No AC mains near the water means no power factor losses and no safety risk.

Every SKUMP system is paired with SOLAFLO’s “Ultimate” controller and LFP battery for true 24/7 operation. The controller runs power management software for illumination, sterilisation, robotic pool cleaning, deluge valves and intelligent Wi-Fi, all plug-and-play.
The Ultimate Controller
The wall-mounted Ultimate controller is the brains of the SKUMP system. It manages solar input, battery state, pump power and speed, filtration cycles, sterlilisation, lighting, robotic pool cleaning even water quality sensing, while leaving room to add our Solmate solar thermal heating, system. Everything runs through one clean, low-voltage plug and play interface. Full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remote control is provided via our Solaflo App.
Pool accessories.
Water features run straight from the SKUMP ecosystem, powered by the same solar energy. Polished stainless water blades and crystal clear laminar jets add movement, light and sound to the pool, all speed controlled through the Ultimate controller and the SOLAFLO App.
Solar lighting, no transformer.
The same SKUMP energy that runs the pump and water features can power LED pool and garden lighting. No grid connection, no extra transformer, and no added running cost.
