The IZEP-Aqua model is commercial grade, solar charged and battery powered, so it runs a full 24 hour duty cycle rather than stopping when the sun goes down. Flow rates reach up to 600 litres per minute in the 80mm version, and the unit can be installed submersible or above ground. Dry land aquaculture currently carries a high cost of electricity and real concerns about reliability of supply. IZEP removes both by taking the operation totally off-grid, and it is equally at home driving the nitrogen cycle in aquaponics and hydroponics systems.
