Street tree watering
Mobile / truck street tree watering is one of the most practical council uses for IZEP. A tank and pump unit mounted on a truck or trailer drives from tree to tree, drawing water from a reservoir or hydrant and pressurising it out to individual watering points. With IZEP, the truck is solar charged and battery powered, so there is no fuel to buy, no smoke and nasty fumes, no generator noise in residential streets.
Public water play
Interactive water play in public spaces is exactly the high flow, low pressure duty IZEP is built for. Jets, bubblers and ground sprays run straight off solar and battery power, so a splash pad or town square feature can be placed where there is no grid connection and no trenching for 240 volt power.
Public water play is safe by design. There is no 240 volt mains power anywhere in the system. The high efficiency BLDC permanent magnet motor runs on safe low voltage DC under 30 volts, well inside the intrinsically safe limit of AS/NZS 3000 Section 6.3 for Zone 0, the in water zone, so children can play in and around the water with confidence.
Lake and pond aeration / decorative fountain
Keeping council lakes, ponds and wetlands healthy is a high flow, low pressure duty that suits IZEP perfectly. Solar and battery power moves water for aeration and algae control without a grid connection, trenching or 240 volt power near the water.
The same setup can power decorative fountains and water features in parks and public spaces, running silently from the sun with no fuel, no emissions and nothing for residents to hear.
