How much does a SOLAFLO system cost?
Talk to your installer or builder for a site-specific quote. The system pays for itself in running-cost savings over its life against a single-speed pump, and stands up well against variable-speed pumps when you factor in that you never pay a power bill and never pay an electrician.
How long does installation take?
A typical replacement swap takes a single visit, often under a day. No electrician is required because the pump runs on safe low voltage DC directly from its solar module. For new pool builds the system is specified with the builder and installed as part of construction.
What is the warranty?
Five years on the pump, backed by an Australian manufacturer you can call. Parts and service come from Australia, not overseas.
Does it still work in winter?
Yes. The system automatically matches filtration flow to the available sunlight through the day. Shorter winter days mean shorter run time, which is exactly what a pool needs in cooler months. No manual switching required.
Do I need batteries?
No. The standard system runs directly from a dedicated solar module during daylight hours, which is when a pool needs filtration anyway. Battery storage is optional for specific site needs.
Do I need an electrician?
No. Because SOLAFLO runs on safe low voltage DC below 30 volts, it is rated for in-water installation without a licensed electrician. That saves several hundred dollars on install and removes the trenching for 240 volt mains cable.
